Alan awkwardly wrestles the front door open, both arms full of shopping bags.

Saturdays aren't as exciting for James as they are for most school kids. He still has morning classes, for one.

Thanks to an impromptu swim a couple of nights ago, Kate's camped out on the couch near the fireplace with a cold and a book. The latter was Kate's idea. The former, not so much.
